Valve Manipulation Tools

Rotary Docking Low Torque Tool

  • Product Number: ITE-0007-D-0530-00
  • The low torque tool develops up to 70 Nm (52 ft.lb) torque for actuation of ball and needle valves and clamps throughout a subsea production system.

The tool consists of a hydraulic motor coupled, via a gear box, to a profiled socket suitable for T-bar or paddle actuation. Due to the low torque figures, no local torque reaction is required. Signals from a turns counter are relayed to a surface readout
