24" Suction Pile Plug
Suction pile plugs are part of our suction pile installation/retrieval suite of tools and components. In addition to plugs, i-Tech offers the mating receptacles and parking receptacles. This system replaces butterfly valves and is available in a variety of sizes. This plug can be easily removed and recovered by the ROV for seal replacement.
This particular plug is a steel 4-lug design and all-stainless handle. The lugs remain in the envelope of the receptacle, reducing snag points. Once installed, the handle falls to an approximate horizontal position.
