Variable Buoyancy Skid
The Variable Buoyancy Skid provides accurate controllable lift capability to an ROV when moving heavy items such as Hydraulic Flying Leads between locations. The skid is capable of operating depths down to 200 metres and the ability to provide around 200 kg of additional lift to the ROV with sensor feedback to tell the operator the amount of lift supplied and the remaining capacity in the gas supply cylinders. The unit is controlled remotely via a laptop computer with a simple 'user friendly' graphics interface page.
