Double Grapple Lift Beam
Subsea 7 Double Grapple Lift Beam is a versatile tool that can be used for decommissioning projects and survey/debris clearance operations. Commonly used for lifting and moving various materials and equipment found subsea such as Pipelines, Umbilical's. The double grapple system can be powered form topside control with a downline umbilical or powered from ROV using hotstab connection. The system allows for the repositioning of the grapples along the length of the beam remotely subsea, this is particularly useful should you have any unusual shaped object such as a termination heads, pipe with clump weights, pipe with buoyancy modules and so on that may be in the way of the grapples. It is fitted with 2x 10Te pipe grapples which are interchangeable with other sizes and payloads if required.
